We are excited to share our work experience placements that will provide a valuable insight into what it is like to work in a professional environment.Alliance Homes has a wonderful history of providing informative and fun work experience placements.Our placements will take place during Monday 30th June to Friday 4th July 2025. When you apply you can select which placement you would like to take part in.Closing date: Monday 17th February 2025 (we will be reviewing applications as they come in and so the role may close early).Each placement has been designed to help the student gain meaningful knowledge and experience in teams that have a variety of career paths.Option 1 - Home Repairs ServiceSpend five superb days out with our Gas, Electric, Repairs and Empty Homes teams where you will get involved in resolving repairs and maintenance concerns in our customers' homes. Option 2 - HousingOur Housing team is at the heart of what Alliance do - creating a place our customers are proud to call home.
During your week you will spend time with our Lettings, Income, Leasehold and Tenancy teams visiting our properties to see what goes in to supporting our customers before and during their tenancy.Option 3 – Development & Community InvestmentThis is a unique opportunity to gain insight into two rewarding areas of work. Our Development team are involved in building our new homes, you will join them in visiting some of our new builds and learning about site development and shared ownerships.
Our Community Investment team are involved in building our community sense of togetherness, you will join them at our beautiful community gardens and hubs to help run engagement sessions.Option 4 – PeopleOur People team are lucky to work with every department across Alliance. During your week you will gain hands-on experience in a range of activities carried out by our HR, Development, and Communication teams. For example, you will get involved in each stage of recruitment, help organise training courses, see how we guide our managers through employment processes and create content to promote Alliance.Further details of each placement can be found in the document attached to this advert.
