The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently splitting and processing wood for various uses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to safety standards.Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain wood splitting machinery and tools.- Split logs into manageable sizes for firewood or other purposes.- Transport and stack split wood for storage or delivery.- Follow safety protocols to minimize risk of injury.- Maintain a clean and organized work area.- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues.Qualifications:- Previous experience in wood splitting or related field preferred.- Familiarity with wood processing machinery and tools.- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.- Basic understanding of safety practices in a manual labor environment.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong attention to detail and quality control.Working Conditions:- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.- May require long hours and physical labor.
