Windows 11 Rollout Engineer, London, 6 month contract. Pay.UK are seeking an experienced and seasoned Windows 11 Rollout Engineer for a 6 month contract to upgrade the company's existing Windows 10 laptop estate.
This role is pivotal in the smooth deployment of Windows 11 to the business areas, whilst ensuring a seamless transition of operating systems to our business users.
We're looking for an Enterprise Level individual, ideally from a Service Desk background who must be able to evidence and execute the following attributes:
Be customer service centric who shows willingness to understand business user needs and concerns at an individual/role levelTakes a common-sense troubleshooting approachClear ability to understand user requirements and ensure solution meet business user needsSenior level experience who can work autonomously in person and in digital communication with business usersKey Accountabilities Deploying Windows 11 across multiple laptop models efficiently and effectivelyDiagnosing and resolving issues related to the Windows 11 rolloutWorking closely with the IT team, with clear escalation routes to ensure minimal disruption during the installation processProviding technical support and training to end users post-deploymentCreating detailed deployment documentation and reportsManaging and maintaining rollout schedule documentationCollaborating within project management governance and key stakeholders to meet rollout deadlinesSkills & Experience Solid experience in OS rollouts, specifically from Windows 10 to Windows 11 operating systemsSoftware packaging experience (Intune)In-depth understanding of Windows 11 deployment processes and toolsStrong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork capabilitiesAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyApplicants must be available to work onsite 5 days a week, looking to start mid-late January 2025 latest.
