Wind Turbine O&M Technician

The Position – The primary function of the Turbine technician is to deliver planned and unplanned Maintenance activity as per O&M contract requirements.
The works will be assigned by the team lead and delivered in compliance with HSQE and best practice standards Key AccountabilitiesCompleted works in compliance with O&M Contractual requirements, which typically included completion of 6 and 12 month maintenance checks, bearing lubrication, functional test and cleaning.
In addition, returning turbine to service after fault conditions will involve mechanical and electrical fault finding, fault resolution, component replacement and functional testing.KnowledgeWorking knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems maintenanceSkillsGood communications, technical fault finding, practical use of toolsExperienceIdeally previous experience of wind turbine maintenanceQualificationsMinimum NVQ Level 3 Mechanical or electrical
