Wills and Probate Solicitor | Bletchley, Milton Keynes | Full-time – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch from 1pm – 2 pm | Hybrid working will be considered |£50,000 - £55,000 per annumOur client is a reputable two-partner law firm based in Milton Keynes, specialising in a diverse range of residential and commercial property work, alongside private client services.They are seeking an experienced Solicitor or FCILEX with around 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their team and provide wills and probate services.Are you the right person for the job?Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdaptability is essential, as the team operates on a cloud-based file management system, and a willingness to embrace and navigate computerised systems is crucialMust be able to work without supervisionThe ideal candidate will manage the Wills and Probate department, with some administrative supportThe ideal candidate will have autonomy to make the role theirs, with regular meetings with management and support to grow and develop as requiredWhat will your role look like?You will be responsible for:Drafting willsHandling both taxable and non-taxable estatesApplying for Grants of ProbateAdministering estatesDrafting and registering Lasting Powers of AttorneyWhat can you expect in return?Competitive salary (up to £55,000 depending on experience)Flexible working optionsOpportunity to work with a supportive, well-established teamModern, cloud-based file management systemsA friendly, collaborative work environmentPension20 working days holiday plus bank holidays plus a break between Christmas and New YearWe are a 15 minutes walking distance from Bletchley train stationHybrid working will be consideredInterviewThere will be an initial virtual interview, followed by an in-person interview.What's next?
