Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Wholesale Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving growth and expansion across the E-commerce channel.
Working closely with key strategic customers such as leading online retailers and marketplaces (e.g., large platforms like Amazon UK/EU, as well as high-profile sports and lifestyle retailers, home goods giants, and major online department stores), the KAM will leverage a business-to-business consultative approach to maximize sales, achieve ROI on brand investments, and capture market share, all while adhering to clearly defined KPIs.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the primary point of contact with major retail category and advertising teams at strategic e-commerce accounts, fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
Maximise new business opportunities while staying informed about market trends and competitive activities.
Develop and execute a joint business plan with all E-commerce strategic customers, including clear contingency strategies to meet business objectives.
Oversee and manage performance at key e-commerce retailers, ensuring alignment with internal metrics and goals.
Act as a key stakeholder in retailer negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and outcomes.
Collaborate with the marketing team to identify business opportunities and flawlessly execute brand strategies.
Support the definition of channel budgets, targets, and strategies for the E-commerce sector, aligned with annual objectives, market trends, and promotional plans.
Own day-to-day forecasting, stock management, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for the e-commerce channel.
Manage the Gross-to-Net (GTN) investment mix, including deal planning, terms negotiations, and advertising budget allocation.
Ensure the collection of consistent, accurate data and statistics, working with internal and external teams to maintain efficiency across all locations.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports, presentations, and management updates.
Monitor and report on competitor sales and marketing activities.
Uphold the highest standards of integrity for the brand and company in all operational areas of sales.
Collaborate closely with the credit control team to manage account debt levels and shortages, sharing updates with senior management.
Take ownership of individual order, logistical, and commercial critical paths for all digital customers, ensuring seamless operations.
Maintain up-to-date SKU information and manage relevant vendor processes.
Drive a 360° approach to key online retail business models (hybrid, seller, vendor), focusing on advertising and strategic development.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Deep understanding of e-commerce processes, metrics, and best practices, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience working with major online retailers.
Strong business acumen with a proven ability to manage and nurture relationships with top e-commerce customers.
Demonstrated success in sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail, capable of crafting compelling commercial arguments.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to make decisions that drive improved KPIs and overall performance.
Expertise in the e-commerce landscape, with hands-on experience driving growth in this channel.
Experience working with leading e-commerce customers in the consumer goods sector.
Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to leverage category insights to develop compelling, mutually beneficial growth plans.
