Main duties of the job As a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your focus will be to understand the needs of the residents and promote their privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfillment.
This will involve identifying their life history, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment.

If this sounds like the place for you, wed love to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus asWellbeing andActivitiesCoordinatorwill be toprovidea wide range of activities to engage and stimulate theresidents' physical, psychological, and social well-being and tounderstandthe needto promotethe philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice,rights,and fulfilment for all residents.Other responsibilitieswillinclude: Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
Planning and submitting to the Home Manager- a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
Arranging activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, you must live our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability in all that you do.Our ideal candidatemusthave: Previously worked with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting Experience organising activities and events.
Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
