Job summary The Wellbeing Centre welcomes people with long term conditions, dementia and elderly people who need support to better care therapeutic programme of care and activities is provided, as well as social interaction and respite for carers and family members.Refreshments are provided throughout the day, including a hot will participate within the wellbeing centre in the provision of food production and other patient support activities.
You work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends andcarers, who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services.

Main duties of the job o Keeping the people who use our services as safe as possible through the use of sound clinical skills and effective risk assessmentsescalating concerns to Registered Professional Staffo Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence based policies and procedures withinscope of assessed core competenceo Ensuring the people using our services have a good experience by respecting, empowering and working in partnership with peoplethroughout the care planning 2 Well Being centre assistants / housekeeper who work in these services require a range of core skills as follows:o To provide refreshments and undertake the provision of food production for the patientso To actively work as a member of the multi-professional team to provide high quality care to patientso To implement straightforward tasks and work guided by standard operating procedures and protocols and undertake roles/duties asdelegated by the Assistant practitionero To undertake a variety of clinical intervention tasks after achieving appropriate core competencies delegated by the AssistantPractitioner About us Rated 'outstanding' by the CQC, we've got a passion for delivering high standards of patient care and excellent services to improve the health of our communities.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Functional Skills at Level 2 (Literacy and numeracy/ GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths) Desirable Level 2 Food service qualification or equivalent Experience Essential Experience of working in a similar role.
Experience of working as part of a team.
Desirable Experience of catering in a health or social care setting Knowledge Essential Understanding of good hygiene and health and safety practices.
Understands the role and remit of an Unregistered worker Basic computer skills Skills and Abilities Essential Sound communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) Attention to detail and presentation.
Can work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
