Welder

Our respected client, a leader in the steel plate processing and fabrications industry are currently seeking a Welder to join their team.
4 day week - Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm With overtime available on Fridays **Key Responsibilities:** - Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements for planning layout and procedures - Preparing and operating welding equipment - Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety - Inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws - Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations **Requirements:** - Proven experience as a welder - Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures - Experience in using electrical or manual tools - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings - Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
