The Opportunity We have a new vacancy for a Weighbridge Coordinator to join our production team at our plant in Torrs, Shepton Mallet.
Theprimary role of the Weighbridge Co-ordinator is to oversee the weighbridge operation with accountability for thedispatch of products and associated paperwork.
This will include managing the yard stocks and operations.
The rolewill also include, but is not limited to, administrative duties, raising andmanaging purchase orders, controlling raw material orders, investigatingvariances, undertaking month end duties and general administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities:- Managing the yard stock levels, loading and unloading and general operations, housekeeping andquality checks.
Working with the yard operatives Assist and supporting the site with identifying customer complaints and resolving them Assisting with site KPIs for H&S Daily production and waste reporting Raw material usage reporting.
Processing of purchase orders and related administrative upkeep.
To ensure all drivers and visitors are wearing appropriate PPE.
Ensure that any new drivers and visitors are inducted and aware of site rules.
Be aware of professional responsibility towards health and safety, use of PPE, reporting accidents,incidents and near misses.
To produce an accurate dispatching service for all loads leaving the site.
To identify the customer account and product and check all relevant information for the load is correct.
Controlling the sites electronic and hard copy administration and filing.
Answering the telephone in a professional manner.

Previous experience operating a Weighbridge is desirable.
