We're looking for a passionate and experienced Weekend Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice in Llandaff North, Cardiff. This exciting new role supports extended weekend opening hours, providing essential care to clients and their pets.
About the Role This position is perfect for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys emergency and critical care. You'll be working sole charge with an experienced Veterinary Nurse on Saturdays and Sundays, 9 am to 5 pm . The role includes consulting and carrying out procedures, supported by excellent equipment and facilities. Patient management systems are integrated across branches for seamless access to case histories.
The clinic is part of a collaborative network, with neighbouring practices open for their usual Saturday consulting hours, allowing for additional support if required.
About the Practice The clinic is easily accessible, located near a train station and close to Junction 32 of the M4. Cardiff offers a vibrant city life with rich cultural heritage, excellent transport links, and proximity to Cardiff and Bristol airports.
What's on Offer? Salary: £60,000–£70,000 FTE, equivalent to £21,000–£24,500 per annum for the weekend hours. Private Medical Insurance from day one. What We're Looking For RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with proven experience. Skilled in delivering high standards of care to patients and clients. A strong team player with clinical leadership abilities. Experience in supporting nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures to enhance clinic efficiency.
