Based in Farnham, Camberley and Guildford, weserve a population of 550,000 across West Surrey and North East Hampshire.Weekend Speciality Doctor1 in 5 to 1 in 8 doubleday weekends as per the 1st on call rota 08:00 - 19:00 Salary £ per hour Location: In-Patient Unit,Kings Lodge, CamberleyPhyllisTuckwell is looking to appoint a weekend specialty doctor to take part in theout of hours on site support of the hospice inpatient unit.
This substantivepost comprises of approximately 6-8 hours per Saturday and Sunday on siteworking and telephone support for the remainder of the shift (8am-7pm).
Theappointee will be reviewing hospice inpatients and admitting new patients tothe ward.
There is always the support of the consultant in palliative medicine.
Main duties of the job Thispost would suit a doctor wishing to increase their Palliative Medicineknowledge such as a GP.
Prior experience of palliative medicine is desirablebut not essential.
