Our home carers support clients with a variety of daily tasks, which may include:Accompanying clients to appointments and social events.Prepare healthy meals and snacks.Pick up a prescription, go shopping for essentials, and do other errands.Carry out light housework, laundry, or ironing.Provide medication assistance.Assist clients getting out of bed in the morning or into bed at the end of their day.Running a bath or shower and being close by in case they need assistance.Assisting with dressing & undressing and personal care when required.Above all, be the person who shows friendliness, warmth, and empathy.
What we are looking for: People with a full UK driving license.

Once you've completed your training, you'll be carefully matched to your clients and asked to visit them in their own homes.

QualificationsNo previous Home Care Assistant experience is needed, just your natural caring qualities.
We will support you with full training, shadow shifts with a Team Leader and introductions to all you new clients.Having a full, UK driver's licence and your own car is essential due to some tasks that may be involved like shopping trips, taking to appointments etc.
We provide free ongoing learning and development opportunities such as the Care Certificate, Health and Social Care diplomas and an extensive range of Home Care Assistant distance learning courses.Additional InformationWe encourage applications from all sections of the community as we want to reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work.
