Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) - Bournemouth Secondary School An Invitation from Our Recruitment Team
On behalf of our client, a well-regarded secondary school in Bournemouth, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated support team.
This position, commencing in September, provides a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs.
Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with teachers to provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiate instruction to maximize student engagement and learning outcomes.
Assist with academic, social, and emotional development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and support.
Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a secondary school setting.
Strong understanding of SEN frameworks and strategies, including differentiated instruction and behavior management techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with young people.
