On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Brighton, we are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people with diverse learning needs.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
You will work closely with students who require additional support, helping them to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Your Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
Assist with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring differentiation to meet individual needs.
Implement personalized learning plans and strategies.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
Foster positive relationships with students, building trust and rapport.
Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students.

Your Ideal Profile
A passion for working with young people with special educational needs.
Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
A relevant qualification in special educational needs or a willingness to undertake training.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
