Lindum Waste Recovery is a vital division which assists the business and helps to ensure our sites operate seamlessly.
Our Waste Recovery reclaims and recycles construction and demolition waste at a range of sites, upholds our sustainability duties by diverting as much waste as possible from landfill, as well as reducing our site's waste disposal costs.
We offer skip hire and waste recycling facilities for domestic and commercial customers.
The successful Yard Operative will be working within our busy yard team, will be expected to report to our Yard Supervisor, and provide help with all general yard operative duties as required.Roles and responsibilitiesYou will be responsible for a variety of yard duties and other activities including (but not limited to): Keeping the waste facility safe and tidySorting pvc waste received on siteAssisting in the metal recycling shedPicking 6F5 aggregatesWorking on the picking lineMaintenance tasks as requiredDriving and operating of Yard loading shovel machineryIdentifying and handling asbestosBanksman dutiesOther General Daily Duties.
This role is full-time (42.5 hours a week), Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm, and will be based at our Saxilby Site.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
