Maybe you are ready to learn a new environment?Here at GXO we are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join us at our Heineken site in Derby for our Drinks contract.
You'll manage a shift of circa 15 colleagues, with the overall responsibility of ensuring that the shifts are resourced adequately, interacting with our customer, overseeing multiple areas of our operation and all aspects of people management.
You will be working Monday to Friday, with a rotational shift pattern of 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 & 22:00-06:00.
This role will require you to work across all shifts, Therefore, flexibility is essential!
Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to £39,500.00 per annum (inclusive of night shift allowance), and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).

What you'll do on a typical day: Working in a complex, fast-moving environment, you will be responsible for the overall operational performance on shift ensuring effective use of resource and management of staff, so customer service and volume is not compromised Support in the management of stock integrity and investigate all discrepancies, using root cause analysis to identify and then remedy all areas of improvement With a passion for developing others, you will lead and motivate the team, to ensure you meet set KPIs, whilst providing support and guidance to your team You will exceed operational targets and lead continuous improvement initiatives at site whilst championing all things health and safety You will work closely with our customer, developing positive working relationships and responding to any customer requests or queries in a timely manner What you need to succeed at GXO: Previous management and team building experience, ideally from working in a similar fast-moving and customer-focused environment An understanding of continuous improvement tools and health and safety Strong PC skills with good knowledge of creating and maintaining spreadsheets, you will need to interpret data on a daily basis with effective numeracy and literary skills and excellent communication.
