Responsibilities: • Oversee and coordinate daily warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and inventory management.
• Implement and enforce safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Assist in inventory control to optimise stock levels and minimise discrepancies.
• Ensure all subordinates are equipped with proper safety attire for their protection.
• Prepare and manage the smooth transfer of stock to and from stores.
• Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 passionate warehouse associates.
• Utilise Warehouse Management Systems to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Forklift licence preferred to handle equipment safely.
Requirements: • Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics role.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Reliable transportation as driving is required due to the rural location.
