You will be expected to plan, delegate, and monitor the workload across all warehouse functions within your area in order to meet the required operational service level across a range of customers in a safe and efficient manner.You can demonstrate strong leadership skills to drive forward positive changes in the company culture, team performance and operational processes, to be an advocate of the Knowles Health & Safety culture and ensure compliance of processes at all times.
Some of what is required is shown below, however this list not exhaustive.Candidate must have: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Warehouse environmentExperience with using WMS systemsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast paced environmentBe self-sufficient, able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlinesGood time keeping, highly organised and be adaptable to changeExcellent communication skills both written and verbalSolid understanding of relevant Health & Safety practicesExcellent numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detailBe competent with Microsoft Excel and Word Key accountabilities: Have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, subordinates and managersBe confident and approachable to all internal and external customersRespond to all customer emails and phone calls in a helpful, positive and professional mannerEnsure all operational issues are escalated as requiredProvide accurate end of shift updates to the Area Manager for handover purposes inHave excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, subordinates and managersBe confident and approachable to all internal and external customersRespond to all customer emails and phone calls in a helpful, positive and professional mannerEnsure all operational issues are escalated as requiredProvide accurate end of shift updates to the area manager for handover purposes including what has been achieved and what is still outstandingUtilise spare resource and equipment effectively by working with other supervisorsDemonstrate the correct behaviours and lead by example in all areas of your workSupport new starters into the business by offering guidance, training and supportManage and support any short or long term absences from the team including monitoring, return to work interviews and follow up action as requiredManage any conduct and performance issues from the team with counselling, training or retraining, performance improvement plans and disciplinary action as required What We Offer / Benefits: We have training and development.Free uniform & PPE provided.Auto enrolment into pension.Statutory holiday entitlement.Salary – depending on experience and discussed at interview.
