Warehouse Supervisor Taskmaster Resources Ltd are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Rugby to lead a team of people and coordinate activities to achieve business goals through focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000PA Working hours: To be discussed, although you must be flexible as the client requires someone that can cater to supplier demands.
Key Responsibilities: Operations Management (fashion/retail).
Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimise operations.
Ensure accurate inventory tracking, build and control using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Safety and Compliance.
Ensure the warehouse adheres to all health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions as required.
Maintain compliance with legal and company policies.
Team Leadership.
Train, and manage warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Schedule and allocate work to meet productivity and deadline targets.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance where necessary.
Customer Service.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Address customer or stakeholder concerns related to warehouse operations.
Continuous Improvement.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to improve efficiency.
Lead initiatives to reduce costs and improve operational quality.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in warehouse technology.
Qualifications and Skills Essential: Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role from a fashion and/or retail warehousing background.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
Key Competencies: Experienced in managing people.
Hands-on approach to work.
Attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Resilience under pressure and ability to meet deadlines.
Motivated and proactive attitude You will initially need to travel between two sites while training but will settle at our clients Rugby site.
