Warehouse Supervisor -In Bound

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inbound Supervisor to join our warehouse team in the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inbound operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of goods into our warehouse, and maintaining high standards of inventory management.
This is a key role in ensuring that our ecommerce platform delivers products to our customers accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities : Oversee Inbound Operations : Supervise and coordinate the receipt, unloading, and inspection of incoming shipments.
Inventory Management : Ensure accurate documentation and processing of goods received, including proper tagging, labeling, and storage.
Team Leadership : Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to ensure inbound targets are met.
Quality Control : Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues and liaise with suppliers for returns or replacements when necessary.
System Management : Ensure timely and accurate data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) for all incoming goods.
Stock Accuracy : Conduct regular stock counts and ensure that inbound inventory aligns with system data.
Process Improvement : Identify areas for process optimization and collaborate with the warehouse manager to implement improvements in inbound workflows.
Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to safety protocols during unloading and storage operations, and maintain a safe working environment.
Reporting : Generate inbound activity reports and provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs), including accuracy, efficiency, and processing times.
Key Requirements : Experience : Minimum of 3 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role handling inbound operations.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and basic MS Office tools (Word, Excel).
Leadership Skills : Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Problem-Solving : Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues that may arise with inbound shipments.
Attention to Detail : Ability to ensure accuracy in receiving, logging, and inspecting inbound goods.
Physical Requirements : Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Education : A qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
Chinese speaking is a great plus.
