Warehouse Operator (Amazon Dept)

The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for an Warehouse Operator (Amazon Dept) to join our clients team based in the Baglan area.
Paid Weekly!
Rate of pay: £11.45ph inc 15% shift allowance= £13.17ph (overtime available at higher rates) Hours of work: 6-6 12 hour day shifts- continental shift pattern (averages out at 42 hours per week) Contract: Temp initially for a 4 week period but may turn permanent subject to headcount in dept being agreed Main Responsibilities : Operating within the warehouse Picking packing and scanning customer goods Getting products ready for dispatch Load finished goods using manual material handling equipment Check load is safe and secure Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of needTo ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to Requirements : Experience using handheld scanners preferred Experience using ride on powered pump trucks preferred but not essential Has previous experience working in manufacturing or a warehouse environment Excellent communication skills Works well in a team and individually DBS checks will be carried out on day 1 of the assignment and the company offers a NO conviction policy.
