We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager with strong and proven leadership skills, who has a clear track record in change management and implementing new systems and procedures to maximise and improve efficiency.
You'll have a background in FMCG, retail and/or e-commerce.
Role Overview: As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse.
You will be responsible for overseeing the activities, managing a team of warehouse operatives, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
This is a key role that requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a hands-on approach.
What you will be doing: Manage and lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring all staff are trained, motivated, and working effectively.
Coach the Warehouse management team and support their ongoing performance and development.
Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Ensure accurate and timely planning is done daily, weekly, and monthly.
Investigate all complaints (internal/external) and resolve them as required with relevant managers.
Oversee daily control of all aspects of site hygiene.
Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow throughout the supply chain.
Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies that arise.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the warehouse.
Prepare and submit regular reports on shift performance, including productivity, efficiency, and any incidents.
Requirements: Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within large-scale production and date code management.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and supporting staff.
Skilled at helping team members grow, building a positive work environment, and driving the team to achieve great results.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and health and safety regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Natural talent for leading and motivating teams, with proven experience in transforming underperforming teams into high-performing ones.
