Warehouse Manager

Job Summary: We are currently representing a role on behalf of our industry leading client at their site based in the East Yorkshire region which is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded supply chain leader to establish themselves within the company and bring control to a busy warehouse and logistics function with a complicated product.
In this role you would oversee the warehouse team and ensure all customer orders are met, planned and as specified by individual customers.
Main Duties: Responsibility for ensuring quality of products shipped and Customer SLAs are met.
Working with the site manager to reduce logistics costs.
Communicating regularly with the warehouse coordinator and any other relevant internal departments to ensure issues concerning sites, contractors, and any other customer contacts are shared and dealt with effectively, efficiently and promptly.
Support the transition to a pick, pack, dispatch operation.
Responsibility for all aspects of site warehousing ensuring lead times and commitments is met in-line with customer orders.
Organise in-coming deliveries ensuring stock is booked on arrival.
Liaise effectively with haulers/partners building robust relationships .
Person Specification: Previous supply chain management experience, ideally from working in a FMCG environment.
A strong leader and true team player who can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Initiative led, driven and motivated, with a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
