Warehouse Manager

WAREHOUSE MANAGER TORFAEN 6 MONTH CONTRACT - FULL TIME SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERERIENCE Job role: • As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing warehouse operations, including receiving raw materials, shipments of products, storing and managing inventory and dispatching goods to customers and end-users.
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilisation and inventory.
Making improvements to storage and organising new storage solutions.
• Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
• Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
• Check orders after picking for accuracy advising warehouse staff of any errors to minimise future discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing H&S standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
