If you're a cup above the rest, this could be your perfect pick-me-up GXO is currently seeking nine driven and talented individuals for the role of Warehouse First Line Manager to join our new Nespresso contract, based at our flagship site based at East Midlands Gateway.
You'll be responsible for driving efficient operational performance on your shift, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site senior management team.
These positions are being offered on a full time, 12-month fixed term contract basis.
You'll be working on an 'any 5 from 7' shift pattern and your hours of work will rotate weekly between 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00.
However, you will need to be flexible on occasion – this is logistics after all Pay, benefits and more: You'll be paid a salary of up to £31,853 per annum .

What you'll do on a typical day: Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of your team, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training and development Facilitate communication through regular briefings, shift updates and continuous feedback to colleagues Supporting the operations managers in achieving the warehouse operational KPIs and service levels and driving improvement initiatives across the site Ensure that the company's health and safety policies and obligations are adhered to, and that the operation meets all legislative requirements at all times What you need to succeed at GXO: Proven experience of leading an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse The ability to effectively lead, coach and develop your team Excellent communication skills, engaging your team, with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement Analytical and logical approach to problem solving, to support change management and continuous improvement on site We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
