Job summary We are looking for an inspiring individual to join our team at Halstead Ward as a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse.Halstead ward is a 20 bedded stand alone intermediate care unit.
The unit is very friendly and welcoming with a great multidisciplinary team who work together with patients and their relatives/carers to support rehabilitations and safe discharges to the most appropriate location for them.
Main duties of the job The role of the ward sister/charge nurse is varied and a great development opportunity within a stand alone unit.
You will support the Ward Manager with staff management, incident management, patient flow and roster management.
You will provide clinical expertise and visible leadership whilst helping to create a positive patient experience.We welcome applications from already experienced Band 6's or experienced Band 5's seeking development.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Qualified Nurse with current registration with the NMC Experience Essential Previous management experience (at the level of a senior Band 5 and above) Desirable Previous experience of working in IMC (Intermediate care)
