We are looking for motivated and passionate individual who wants to work as part of the team to help provide exceptional care to a range of patients with neurological rehabilitation needs.
We have a part time post available for a Band 2 ward clerk Lascelles ward is a 12 bed mixed sex ward specialising in providing inpatient rehabilitation for adults living with a variety of neurological conditions such as head injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, motor neurone disease, Guillain-Barre syndrome and patients who have suffered strokes.
You shall work closely with the therapy staff to ensure all patients are working towards their rehabilitation goals.
The unit can be a busy unit and therefore we are looking for someone who can multi task well and is organised.

Main duties of the job Liaise with patients on the ward and their family.Have an excellent telephone mannerWill assist all members of the MDT to perform their roles to the best of their ability.Assist in arranging discharge plans / follow up appointments for patients.Have an understanding of the hospital systems including PCSTo act as a host and receptionist to patients, their families and visitorsTo demonstrates due diligence whilst maintaining and promoting effective working practices commensurate with the post.Maintains confidentiality relating to the welfare and treatment of patients and staff at all times.To be flexible to work in different areas within the unit as required About us Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) cares for the population in Harrogate and the local area, as well as across North Yorkshire, Leeds and parts of the North East.
