Supply Staff Ltd is looking for Residential Support Workers to join our team working in Bournemouth, catering to children aged 10 to 17 year old..
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading children's residential care groups, providing safe, caring, and nurturing living environments for children and young people nationwide.
Your Role You will collaborate with your team to implement care plans, support young people in developing living skills, access education and therapy, promote positive behaviour, help individuals manage their emotions and behaviours effectively, and build positive relationships with the children, their families, and other professionals in care and education.
Opportunities available- * Support young people aged 8 to 16 with additional needs in residential settings.
* Assist teenagers aged 16 to 18 in semi-independent accommodation.
* Provide temporary accommodation for individuals transitioning from past placements.
* Offer respite care to individuals while their families take necessary breaks.
* Provide outreach support for vulnerable children and young people.
Requirements * Right to work in the UK.
* At least 1 year of experience in the UK care sector supporting children and young people.
* Experience as a Support Worker.
* A driver with access to a vehicle (preferred) * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Required) Position Details- * Position: Support Worker (Children) * Type of Work: Temporary with temp-to-perm options available * Start Date: ASAP (immediate hours available) * Duration: Ongoing * Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-time with varied shift patterns to suit work/life balance * Hours: Long days, waking nights, and sleep-in shifts available with flexible hours to fit your schedule Please note: We are unable to provide sponsorship.
