An enthusiastic Front of House/Waiting Staff required for a busy Hotel in Reading.
A natural pro-active Front of House, able to take responsibility and supporting the Food & Beverage team as well as working closely with the back of house staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently working or looking to start a career in hospitality.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fun fast-moving environment and expand their knowledge while gaining excellent experience.
Benefits: On-site free parking Split Shifts available and the client is looking for 12:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 22:00 Hourly pay Earn up to 28 days holiday a year.
Pension Flexibility Parking available on site Key Information : Immediate start 40hrs per week - working as a shift pattern Tuesday to Sunday 5 days out of 7, Monday off and Sunday evening off Key Responsibilities Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, glasses, arranging table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g.
parties).
Greet and show customers to their tables.
Communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
Deliver food and drink orders to the table deftly and accurately Guarantee compliance to cleanliness standard.
Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality, providing excellent wait and customer service to guests to ensure diners/customers satisfaction.
Collaborate with other staff as a team.
Carry used plates, glasses, and silverware to kitchen for cleaning.
Skills Required: Enthusiasm and willingness to develop your own skills and knowledge, plus those around you.
Confident, positive, and approachable manner Able to stay calm when pressure mounts or difficulties arise in service and ability to adapt quickly to change.
Understanding of HACCP, allergens, special diets, portion control, and recipe costings, stock control and wastage Qualifications/Certifications Level 1 Food Hygiene qualification Desired but not necessary 1year experience.
