Key Responsibilities Assist in the development of Power advisory globally (in coordination with SFA Americas with regard to this region).Assist in the origination and execution of financial advisory assignments for the bank's clients active in the Power sector, including construction of greenfield projects, expansion of existing projects, acquisition of existing assets, or re-financings.Assist in the development of the strategy for Power advisory globally.Develop and maintain advisory relationships with key investors in the Power sector and originate advisory mandates.Prepare proposals and assist with client pitches.Execute advisory assignments jointly with project finance lending teams, including:Preparing presentations addressing key aspects of advisory assignments.Developing alternative financing plans and strategies, including export credits, multilateral agencies, and relevant debt capital markets.Reviewing the bankability of key commercial contracts with Sponsor's legal counsel.Preparing and supervising financial modeling exercises.Preparing information memoranda.Commissioning and managing consultants' due diligence.Preparing and reviewing detailed financing term sheets with Sponsor's legal counsel.Negotiating financing proposals from various financing sources.Cultivate a network of industry contacts, including lawyers, consultants, banks, and rating agencies.Identify and secure opportunities to cross-sell the bank's products, including M&A, bank loans, risk management/derivatives, and capital markets.Management and Reporting Reports to the Head of SFA - Power.
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements, including the SFA Operating Procedures and the Financial Crime Policy.Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure full qualification for the role and complete all mandatory training.Refrain from actions that could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and propriety for the role.Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.Location LONDON
