Volunteer - Woodland Creation Champion

At the Woodland Trust, we want to make sure everybody in the UK has the chance to plant a tree.
Through our Free Trees for Schools and Communities programme, we have already given away over 13 million free trees to schools and community groups across the UK.Our Woodland Creation Champion - Schools & Groups volunteer network is vital in helping us succeed in our ambitions and expand our work.
Join us as a Woodland Creation Champion - Schools & Groups Volunteer and you'll be helping us by undertaking both desk-based research and on the ground networking in local areas of low tree equity to identify key organizations we can engage in our work, proactively developing relationships with relevant individuals, community groups and stakeholders, assisting them in the process to receive and plant their free trees, and undertaking monitoring and feedback.This role is part of a pilot running until June 2025, but we hope to continue building this new network into the future.
