We are looking for 2 Adult Education Tutors that can deliver Employability, Vocational Certificates and Functional Skills.
The role will predominantly be classroom based (Wolverhampton), but there may be aspects or occasions where remote delivery will take place as some learners will be employed.
This would still be delivered from the office.
The client group will primarily consist of individuals aged 19+ who are actively seeking employment.
The Company collaborates closely with a network of local employers to support learners on their journey toward achieving positive outcomes.
Required Functional Skills to be delivered are: Maths, Entry Level 3 up to Level 2 English, Entry Level 3 up to Level 2 Essential Digital Skills, Entry Level 3 up to Level 1 For the vocational experience, you would prefer candidates with expertise in ONE of the following areas, but would be confident to deliver the others Vocational Skills to be delivered: Health and Care: Level 1 or 2 Certificates Hospitality: Level 1 or 2 Certificates Business & Retail: Level 1 Certificate There are plans to develop courses in: Manufacturing and Engineering: Level 1 or 2 Certificates Leisure, Travel & Tourism: Level 1 Certificate Key Responsibilities: Tutor: Conduct initial and diagnostic assessments to inform high-quality, innovative delivery that challenges and inspires learners.
This includes setting clear objectives and involving learners in the planning, review, and evaluation process.
Deliver effective, high-quality provision across a range of ability groups (Entry 1 – Level 2) to meet all relevant academic and funding criteria and enable learners to achieve their personal learning goals.
Continuously monitor course effectiveness and assess learner development through individual learning plans, informing teaching strategies to ensure learner and programme success.
Provide general advice and guidance regarding progression, pre-programme information, and programme entry criteria.
Produce and/or adapt relevant and motivational teaching materials, undertaking necessary research to deliver programmes that meet learner needs.
Ensure all administrative procedures are maintained before, during, and after programmes (e.g., maintaining registers, marking work, monitoring attendance, and completing funding documentation) to meet compliance, quality procedures, and funding requirements.
Attend and contribute to team meetings, standardisation sessions, and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities as required.
General: Maintain an awareness of and actively follow and promote Company policies, including but not limited to Safer Recruitment, Data Protection, Information Security, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevent.
Undertake any training required by Company policy and take responsibility for personal professional development.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
