Together, we go above and beyond to make an impact in the lives of our patients and customers.As the Surgical Sales Manager (Vision Suite Manager), your role encompasses promoting and selling Alcon's visualization and diagnostic portfolio.
Through consistent engagement and relationship-building with customers, you'll drive sales to meet targets.
Additionally, you'll showcase expertise in demonstrating advanced surgical equipment, adeptly troubleshoot issues, and actively pursue opportunities within the Ophthalmology market.Territory Outline:Scotland & North England – Liverpool/Manchester to SunderlandWe foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.
In this role, a typical day will include:Gaining sales and market share across Alcon's digital visualization, microscopy and diagnostic portfolio across your assigned Territory.Proactive collaboration with AMs, SEMs and other sales specialist roles: identifying potential targets and new customers.Being the key end-to-end specialist contact for visualization and diagnostic systemsSurgical Visualization and diagnostic equipment promotion, demoing and training to HCPs in the OR (Operating room) and ClinicDriving equipment penetration and upgrades according to the account plan in SalesForceEnsuring high pull-through of IOLs & consumablesIdentifying visualization and diagnostic opportunities and creating leads for Cataract and Vit EquipmentReporting competitive intelligenceConsistently acting in accordance with SOPs and medical device regulatory environment.What you'll bring to Alcon:Sales experience in an operating theatre setting working with capital equipment – essential.Microscopy and/or Audiovisuals and diagnostic experience - preferred.Experience working within the NHS & Private sector, networking and relationship building with both Clinical & Non-Clinical KOL's – essential.
Cross functional and matrix style working, ability to work as part of a team and collaborate to achieve individual and team targets through lead generation and sharing best practice.
