We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Release Train Engineerto join our team.
This role is located in Manchester - Hybrid.
Overview: The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach in our Platform Operating Model.
The RTE's major responsibilities are to facilitate development events and processes, assist teams in delivering value, and drive relentless improvement.
This role involves communication with stakeholders, escalation of impediments, risk management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You'll make an impact in the following ways: Facilitate and organize medium to large scale planning events which align multiple Agile teams working on development projects Help teams meet goals and deliver value Ability to communicate with leadership, stakeholders and business owners as well as escalate impediments Manage risks and dependencies, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.
Drive continuous improvement and integration Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Leaders in the Platform Operating model and Agile methodologies Manage and optimize program flow, facilitating large scale planning events and readiness Aggregate Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives Track and report status, ensuring value delivery To be successful, we're seeking interest in the follow areas: Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred Experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus Strong knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, practices, frameworks, and methods Understanding of company organizational model, structure, and Agile journey history Effective facilitation and teaching methods Coaching and mentoring approaches, including the distinction between the two.
Ability to drive decisions and resolve conflicts across multiple parties Strong problem-solving skills Experience successfully running agile projects of varying size and complexity At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
