The VP, R&D Finance will lead the business partnering support to BeiGene's Research & Development functions.
The ideal candidate will serve as the global finance leader and lead a global finance team who provide controllership, FP&A and decision support to the R&D Functional Heads (e.g.
Research, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Science (Onc & Heme), Global Patient Safety, Global Statistics & Data Sciences, etc.)
as well as providing effective resource transparency and utilization at our (Clinical) Portfolio Review Committee (BPRC) and co-lead governance of our Capital portfolio Review Committee (CPRC).
The VP, R&D Finance will lead financial and business process improvements and enterprise optimization initiatives as well monthly/quarterly results vs. financial plan and financial metrics to support improved organizational decision making.
The leader will play a key role in partnering with HR, Procurement, IT, Accounting and the broader Finance team on organizational efficiency and process improvement initiatives to improve resource allocation, transparency and drive organizational cost savings.
The successful candidate will have deep bio-pharma experience with an understanding of both R&D processes, working in a global environment and leading and delivering business process improvement initiatives with a clear ROI/organizational benefit.
