Location: Lincoln Salary : £35,000-£60,000 per annum Hours: Full-time or part-time, flexible working patterns available About An RCVS-accredited General Practice, with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and team well-being.
Established over 10 years, the practice has grown into a team of 4 experienced vets, 4 RVNs, and 1 SVN.
The facilities include three consulting rooms, a dedicated theatre and prep area, separate cat, dog, and isolation wards, and a full range of modern equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound (with Doppler and ECG), dental x-ray, electrocautery, and capnography.
15-minute consults : Ensuring time for quality client care.
Lunch breaks guaranteed : 1-hour breaks built into schedules, with additional time before and after consult blocks.
Overtime paid: Any work beyond contracted hours, including missed lunch breaks, is compensated.
Daily team huddles : A short meeting to share updates, raise concerns, and promote collaboration.
The client base includes mostly dogs and cats, along with some small furries (e.g., rabbits, guinea pigs).
Assistant vets are not required to do OV work, and they do not routinely see birds or reptiles.
The Role This practice are open to applications from both experienced vets and recent graduates, including those returning from a career break or seeking consulting-only roles.
They are flexible and can offer full-time or part-time contracts, with the following: Full-time options: Work 4 or 5 days a week (your choice).
Weekend rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays, no OOH CPD : £1,500 budget and 35 paid hours annually, with certificate funding considered for the right candidate.
Pro-rata for part-time.
Support: Comprehensive on boarding and mentoring for new graduates, with optional enrollment in a Graduate Development Programme.
