Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our compassionate team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to animal welfare and be proficient in performing surgical procedures, diagnostics, and treatment plans. Duties Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues and determine appropriate treatment plans. Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including routine surgeries and emergency interventions. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients treated. Provide guidance and education to pet owners regarding animal care, nutrition, and preventative health measures. Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous professional development. Participate in laboratory work as needed, including analysing samples and interpreting results. Experience A degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent qualification is essential. Previous experience as a Veterinary Surgeon is highly desirable, particularly in a clinical setting. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and diagnostics is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. A compassionate approach towards animals and their owners, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions. Pay: £50,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
