Veterinary Surgeon

Details of the offer

Veterinary Surgeon | Complex Services Up to £70,000 + Extensive Benefits Full / Part Time | 1 in 4 Weekends Open to Newly Qualified Are you a Vet looking for a more diverse case load?
Looking to work with certificate holders and progress your clinical skills?
Compass Associates area proud to be working alongside a first opinion, veterinary practice near Coventry to help them in their search for a new Clinical Vet Surgeon.
The Clinic: Our practice owners are both still part of the clinical team; they are 'boots on the ground' managers who are always there for their team.
Currently, we have 6 Surgeons who are supported by a wealth of RVNs and FoH staff so that we create an efficient, clinically excellent experience for both staff, clients and (most importantly), patients!
We are a very close-knit team with staff retention being very successful.
A no-nonsense approach to conflict means we have an excellent culture of support.
As well as all the usual bells and whistles you'd want in a modern, small animal practice like large theatres, consult rooms and staff space, we have all sorts of additional bits for you to use.
We also have orthopaedic equipment and have an in house behaviorist.
Our diagnostic equipment is extraordinary with echocardiography capabilities; we perform a variety of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries and have large, spacious ward space.
The Role: The new Veterinary Surgeon will be at the forefront of tackling our growing clinical case load.
You will manage consults, surgery, diagnostics and, if confident, help oversee EMS placements and new graduates.
We are happy to meet with either full or part time applicants but do require availability on weekends.
The Candidate: To apply, you will need to be a RCVS accredited veterinary surgeon; candidates who hold a certificate or are working towards one will stand out but is not a requirement.
We are happy to meet with recent graduates as well.
The most important thing for us is personality: we have established a warm culture of support and would like to add people with similar values.
Remuneration: For the right candidate, we are looking to offer around £70,000 per annum.
You also get additional benefits including: - Generous annual leave - Health care schemes - Excellent progression routes - Large CPD budget - Well being initiatives - Childcare vouchers - Loads more, reach out to discuss.
Recommendations: Compass Associates Ltd are working in partnership on this vacancy.
If you are not interested, but know someone who is, we offer £200 vouchers for each successful recommendation.
Contact details: If you wish to apply for this position, please contact Theo Hoten on 023 9421 4488 or email your CV to ******
