Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon Location: Carrickfergus, Mid and East Antrim Working Hours: This is a part time position and we have flexibility regarding hours and rota.
You will work 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am to 1pm.
Salary: £63000 Key Responsibilities: Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required: Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
