We are looking for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment where your expertise will help shape the health and well-being of our animal patients.
Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing illnesses, providing surgical and medical treatments, and educating pet owners about the best practices in animal care.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive examinations and assessments of animal health.
Perform surgeries and administer treatments in accordance with best practices.
Provide detailed explanations of health issues and treatment plans to pet owners.
Ensure all animal care and treatments are recorded accurately in patient files.
Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay abreast of veterinary advancements.
Requirements Degree in Veterinary Medicine and a valid license to practice.
Experience in veterinary surgery and medicine preferred.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Team player with a commitment to the welfare of animals.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Benefits Job Type:  Part-Time (3-day week, every other Saturday morning) Salary:  £50,000 - £80,000 FTE (commensurate with experience and hours) Competitive salary (£50,000 - £80,000 FTE) Up to six weeks of holiday leave Loyalty bonus scheme Staff recruitment reward scheme Generous CPD budget with encouraged development RCVS and VDS fees paid Staff pets treated at cost price
