Veterinary Surgeon - Northamptonshire An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Veterinary Surgeon to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital in Northamptonshire.

About: The facility is a 24-hour, modern hospital designed by vets, for vets, with cutting-edge equipment including a CT scanner, digital X-ray machine, laparoscopy kit, and more.
With a large amount of dedicated team members, you'll always have support, especially from the highly skilled nursing team who've grown through the ranks.
The Role: Must be comfortable working in a hospital environment Completed Vet GDP Flexible full- or part-time hours available No out-of-hours work, as we have a dedicated night team   What's On Offer (Pro Rata): 6.6 weeks of paid holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays) £1,750 CPD Allowance per annum Health Shield RCVS and two other membership subscriptions paid Enhanced family leave policies (maternity, paternity, adoption, surrogacy) Discounted veterinary fees Company sick pay Visa Support/Sponsorship Focus on employee wellbeing and career development opportunities   Responsibilities: Provide High-Quality Clinical Care: Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical, surgical, and emergency cases, ensuring the best outcomes for pets in a hospital setting.
Perform Surgical Procedures: Carry out routine and advanced surgeries, including soft tissue, using modern equipment like laparoscopy and endoscopy.
Emergency and Critical Care: Manage critical and emergency cases that require immediate attention, including stabilisation and treatment planning.
Advanced Diagnostic Work: Utilize diagnostic tools such as CT scanners, ultrasound, and digital X-ray to support clinical decision-making.
Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work closely with other vets, veterinary nurses, and support staff to deliver comprehensive patient care, promoting a team-based approach.
Client Communication: Build strong relationships with clients by explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans clearly and compassionately.
Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Stay updated with the latest veterinary practices, actively pursuing further training to enhance professional skills and career progression.
