Veterinary Receptionist - Seadown Totton Are you passionate about making pets a priority?
Here at CVS, so are we!We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Seadown Totton Surgery.This role is mainly based at our Totton branch, where there will only be one Receptionist on shift at a time.There is a requirement to support/assist the Vet with animal handling; e.g.
for blood samples, vaccines and euthanasia appointments etc.Hours: 17.17 hours per weekShift Pattern: Tuesday - 13:00-18:30 - 5.5 hours at Totton Thursday - 08:30-14:00 - 5.5 hours at Hythe Friday - 13:15-18:15 - 5 hours at Totton Saturday - 08:30-12:00 - on a rolling 1 in 3-week basis at Totton About CVS:CVS Group plc is one of the largest integrated veterinary services providers in the UK encompassing four main business areas; our veterinary practices, diagnostic laboratories, pet crematoria and e-commerce division.Our success is derived from the passion our people have for animals and for making pets a priority, it's what is at the heart of our work, every day.Take a look at our short film to recognise the remarkable work thatour Vets, Nurses, Care Assistants and Receptionists do on the front line every day in the UK: About the role:This Receptionist position provides the below opportunities to be more hands on and involved with the patients; Aiding/assisting clients with weighing their animalsAssisting the Vet in some consults with animal handlingWith Totton being a small branch practice, with one consulting room, it can often mean that the team get to know clients (and patients) better Further day-to-day duties of the role will include: Answering phones and booking appointmentsResponding to queries via phone, in person and emailRegistering new clientsCompleting insurance formsDispensing medicationsTaking paymentsAnd most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist: Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situationsAn excellent communicator with strong empathyExcellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the publicA positive attitude and excellent teamwork skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems What we can offer you:We know that benefits are key and that your personal benefits priorities will differ from others, so
