This position offers a unique blend of collaboration, mentorship, and independent practice across two closely connected hospitals in Northern Utah and Salt Lake City.
Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information This hospital offers 24/7 Emergency services and a strong foundation in Critical Care, Surgery, and Radiology.
In 2020, the hospital relocated to a newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility designed to deliver exceptional veterinary care.
The Medical Oncology service is growing and offers an opportunity to develop the caseload further with the support of an experienced Oncology team.
This position splits time between two locations: Northern Utah hospital: Practice independently while building and expanding the Oncology caseload.
Salt Lake City hospital: Collaborate with and receive mentorship from an experienced Oncologist, fostering professional growth.
Departments The team is composed of Emergency clinicians, specialists in Critical Care, Surgery, and Radiology, and highly skilled veterinary technicians.
The hospital emphasizes collaboration and a supportive environment to ensure excellent patient care and professional satisfaction.
Equipment The hospitals are well-equipped with: \n On-site digital radiology \n Point-of-care ultrasound \n CT imaging and fluoroscopy \n Endoscopy \n High-flow oxygen systems \n Advanced telemetry systems \n In-house laboratory for immediate diagnostics \n Staffing Levels Both hospitals benefit from dedicated, highly trained ICU nurses, certified veterinary technicians, and client care representatives who work alongside the specialists to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
