Venue Booking Coordinator

LPS are a well-established nationwide fundraising company raising vital funds for local hospices and national charities.
We are looking for someone to join our busy team and work alongside our telephone-based venue booker who books our fundraisers into different sites each week.
This person will assist with the admin side of the venue booking process, along with delegation and planning of the weekly requirements.
The ideal candidate would be adaptable and will have an administration back ground and be proficient in Excell.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for detail.
Role: Venue Coordinator Hours: 7 hours per day between 8-4 Days: Part time over 4 days, mandatory days are Monday, Tuesday and Friday (the 4 th day is own choice) Salary: £18,928 per annum Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the venue booking process.
Checking and keeping rotas updated as tasks come in.
Sending email requests and confirmations.
Understanding the fundraisers needs and communication with them and gaining feedback for venue data.
Assigning venues based on fundraisers needs.
Communicating with the venue booker and delegating out their daily tasks and priorities.
Keeping the excel spreadsheet up to date and constantly checking and tidying up and fresh requests come in and are dealt with.
Problem Solving:Last minute site changes or double bookings and prioritise changes.
Analysing venue data weekly and keeping track of successful and unsuccessful venues.
Venue sourcing, ad-hoc and on a 3 monthly rotation for existing databases to check new possibilities.
Some minimal calls to be made for confirmation and cancellations calls, also to cover venue booker sickness.
Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 5 years work experience and previous admin experience Must be proficient in Excell as will need to understand coding and databasing.
Must be confident on the phone Skills: Must be adaptable to a busy ever changing surrounding Must be able to demonstrate leadership and delegation Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach We are a friendly and welcoming small team based near Winton High Street.

We are looking for someone to come in and be able to learn about the fundraising industry so that you gain knowledge of how the venue booking system runs.
