This role will appeal to a self-motivated individual who is proactive and works well under pressure.
You will be customer focused and able to work towards agreed SLAs to enable you to offer the highest level of customer service.Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the service and maintenance of our vending machines with the following;Respond to machine faults/failures within agreed SLAFocus and accountability on quality, standards and continual improvementWorking closely with the operations team to ensure delivery of excellent customer serviceTrain staff on DIY sites showing them the operational features of the equipment/machines once installedCommunicate with the Service Desk on ensuring the completion of calls and update the in-house system working towards a first-time fault resolutionSupport with site surveys and machine installations when applicableBe smart and presentable at all times with a flexible approach to workProvide cover to other areas as required by service desk to cover for holiday/sickness Person Specification & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years technical and mechanical engineering experience essential, vending Industry experience preferredBasic electrical understanding and experience essential, advanced electrical engineering desirableCertifications and/or qualifications preferred in the following areas: Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical/Health & Safety/Quality/IT including electrical safety and PAT testingExcellent communication skills with a focus on customer serviceExcellent IT skills essentialDigital media experience an advantageA problem solver with a can-do approachA good team player who strives to deliver company goal and objectivesSelf-motivated, able to respond and adapt promptly and easily to change, with a positive attitude and approachFull UK driving licenceIndustry manufacture experience an advantage but full training will be provided.
This role will be based over 5 days, Monday to Friday between 8:30 and 17:00 (40 working hours).
