Sovereign Automotive are an accident management company that specialise in providing replacement hire vehicles to taxi drivers who have been involved in a non-fault road traffic accident, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service.
Role purpose: To support the wider Sovereign team by ensuring that our fleet is properly maintained by diagnosing any faults and carrying our repairs where required so that all vehicles going out are safe and roadworthy.
Main Responsibilities: Carrying out vehicle service/maintenance, diagnostics and repairs as required.
Road testing all vehicles are fully operational following repairs or services and signing it off prior to it going back into fleet for hire.
Ordering parts where required and returning any unused parts to the relevant suppliers.
Carry out regular stock takes as per Company Policy.
Ensure Health and Safety Compliance through regular Health & Safety checks to guarantee a clean and safe workspace and reporting any potential hazards to management.
Any other reasonable management requests.
What we ask of you?
Light vehicle maintenance and repair ideally level 3 but can accept level 2+ with the relevant experience.
2-3 years automotive experience.
Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and Application.
Able to organise workflow to ensure business needs met efficiently and on time.
Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking.
Good Customer Service and Communication Skills.
Must have own tools.
Must hold a full UK licence and be comfortable driving manual and automatic vehicles.

Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm + occasional Saturday work may be required.
