Vehicle Technician

Becoming a technician at Auto Torque means working on a variety of performance vehicles.
You will be required to carry out modifications and alterations, restoration work along with general servicing and maintenance.
Working as part of a highly skilled team, you will have the ability to problem solve, think analytically and work independently as well as being a team player.
Hours: 08:00 17:30 Salary: £ Competitive based on experience.
Bonus and overtime available.
Key responsibilities: To undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturers scheduled times to maintain efficiency Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with company standards Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety To be able to work independently and as part of the team when required Work closely with the Service Manager and ensure they are kept informed of the progress of work on customer vehicles and they are fully briefed on work completed.
To be aware of the importance and implication of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and work to ensure they are met at all times Person requirements: Minimum of three years experience, ideally in the performance car market but not essential.
Take responsibility for the quality of your work Excellent communication skills required in order to explain technical information to colleagues and customers accurately and concisely.
