*About the companyI am currently recruiting on behalf of an international automotive manufacturer, based in Leamington Spa, seeking Vehicle Build Technicians to join their teamJob DescriptionAs Vehicle Build Technician, your main responsibilities include:Directly involved in the hands-on assembly, and final build, of iconic vehiclesComprehensive vehicle preparation, assembly, and build, including trim and final assemblyBoth mechanical and electrical, assembly tasksAssemble components and sub-assemblies, building essential vehicle parts and systems from scratchComplete whole vehicle builds, using a bay-build disciplineQualifications / Skills neededProven experience in vehicle build, assembly, or a similar hands-on technical roleInterpreting engineering drawings and working with precision componentsProficiency with handheld tools and assembly techniques, for automotive buildsBackground in fabrication and welding (advantageous but not essential)Attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and commitment to qualityWhy work through Contechs?Contechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
