Vat Associate Director (Real Estate)

A leading VAT indirect team is hiring a VAT specialist for their growing Real Estate team.
As a VAT AD, you will be working closely with the Director and Partner of the team to look after a prestigious group of Real Estate Clients to provide high level advisory services.
As an Associate Director of the Indirect tax team, you will be: Oversee scoping, delivery, and billing for client projects, providing high-quality technical advice to a diverse client base.
Guide junior staff in producing quality work, while supporting Directors and Partners.
Offer accurate advice on Indirect Tax issues, supported by a solid grasp of legislation and case law.
Communicate complex tax matters clearly to varied audiences.
Produce technically sound work with minimal need for review.
Review team members work and ensure compliance with firm risk management and client processes.
Manage billing, gross margin, utilization, and WIP.
Your experience and qualification: Experience in VAT/Indirect Taxes advisory, ideally with a tax qualification (CTA/ATT) or accounting (ACCA/ACA) Experience in managing large client portfolios, strong organizational abilities, interpersonal skills, project leadership, and expertise in complex indirect tax advice across VAT areas and sectors.
